Champagne Books-Mostly ebooks, with some in print. Besides romance, they're expanding to include horror, science fiction, self-help, and mainstream fiction. Most of the covers are very professional looking and some aren't as great. (As authors our readers are first faced with our covers. I feel that it's imortant that they look as professional as possible.)
Changeling Press-This is an electronic and trade publisher who mostly wants paranormal, sci-fi, fantasy, or fetish romance. They accept both straight and gay storylines. They seem to put out MANY ebooks every month, though their covers leave A LOT to be desired. Their site is beautiful and I think they'd be doing their authors and themselves a great service by upgrading their book covers, but you can judge for yourself.
Draumr Publishing-For their Dangerous Curves line: "DC books must have a big beautiful woman heroine but may or may not have a big handsome man hero. Our preference at this time is to accept only submissions where the heroine does not lose weight to gain acceptance and/or a mate." General submissions: They are currently seeking submissions for Draumr Publishing fiction genres such as science fiction, fantasy, horror, mystery, adventure, suspense/thriller, non-bbw romances (including all the subgenres listed above), and gay/lesbian stories. They do both ebook and print, though their ebooks are not available anywhere but through their site. Most of their covers are cartoon drawings, and, although I checked out their entire catalog, not many books were listed.
Erotique Press Publishing-Erotiqué is currently accepting submissions for ALL GENRES of erotic fiction. Fantasy - Futuristic - Mystery - Thriller - Light Horror - Historical - Romance - Mainstream. They are currently publishing in electronic formats only. "If at a later date we choose to do paperback editions, appropriate contracts will be negotiated." Nice Covers!
Ellora's Cave Romantica Publishing-This is a huge ebook publisher. Excellent covers and they supposedly get the most hits of any online romance/erotica publisher. The problem is, you'll get old and gray waiting for them to respond. I've submitted twice and waited at least 5 months each time to hear from anyone, although with larger publishers, this isn't unusual. They take everything from Time Travel and Shapeshifters, to Westerns and Bondage.
Highland Press-"Highland Press is looking for outstanding historical manuscripts. We want historicals like we all grew up with and fell in love with--not the ones being released now which are required to leave most of the history out of them. This does NOT mean we want manuscripts with history dumps in them! Please ensure your history is well sprinkled throughout your manuscript and your historical facts are accurate. While we are predominantly focusing on historicals at the present time, this does not mean we aren't willing to consider well written contemporaries." Their covers remind me a lot of greeting cards. Some were very pretty.
ImaJinn Books-ImaJinn is currently accepting submissions for supernatural, such as witches, vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, etc. They are also accepting submissions for "futuristic (futuristic books on Earth or other planets) and paranormal (psychic abilities or other paranormal phenomena, but NOT ghosts)" They publish books both in ebook and print form. Most of their covers are good, and a few were especially nice.
Linden Bay Romance-Mostly an ebook publisher, with some books in print. They have everything from contemporary and paranormal, to gay/lesbian and comedy. Nice website and excellent book covers! My book, Invisible Evidence, is published through them. Note: They're closed to submissions until further notice.
Liquid Silver Books-Erotica Romance ... Distinctive, Classy...and Hot! Mainly an ebook publisher, though they have some books in print. Their website is very professional, easy to navigate, and their book covers are excellent!
Mojocastle Press-An ebook publisher that accepts novels with varying degrees of sexuality. From sensual mainstream romance to "The Dungeon" with "no Happily-ever-afters allowed!" Nice site and nice book covers.
